does anyone use a cheaper off brand of carrier, like other than Sprint or Verizon or TMobile???? The prices on the plans are crazy these days but i can''t afford to not have coverage, Any company ideas that actually work??????

I am not sure if you have something similar in the US, but here in Germany all the major brand have "off brands" as well. I have a prepaid phone which I only have to upload new minutes to every two months or so, because I don't call people much. The major provider is Telefonica which uses the O2 network. And the "off brand" is called FONIC.
