If I was to eat 3500 extra calories today, at what point would the extra pound show up on the scale??? Just wondering, Thanks.

It might not. That's a generalization that 3500 calories equals a pound. It doesn't literally mean that if you eat 3500 calories extra it will slap onto your *kitten*. Just the same as you aren't guaranteed to lose a pound by eating 3500 calories less.

There is no way to know if or when you would gain said pound. Every body is different.

Ok. thanks, it's just that it seems to take 2 weeks for me to gain so called pound, but wasn't sure if that was the case or not or if I was imagining it!!
