I have been on MFP for some time now and have found the boards to be very inspirational. I have had success in the past, but allowed it to slip away, and now dealing with a neck injury that is likely to lead to a career change, I am finding it difficult to get motivated. This post is my way of saying that it is time to turn my life back around. It is time to push through all of this and stop making excuses. Any support and ideas are welcome and appreciated. As part of this accountability, here is my starting information:

Age: 40 (female)
Height: 5' 2"
CW: 222lbs
BMI: 40.69
Goal Weight: 130lbs, size 5/6 (really just wherever I feel comfortable and can run a block or two without collapse)

Ive been losing and gaining the same 2lbs for about a month now, so I understand what you mean.
Four of us at week have come up with a competition. We put in £1 per week each and the first person to lose a stone (14lb) before Xmas gets the cash. I started well (lost 2lb the frsit week), but have put on 4lb this week, so really have to get myself back on track if I want to win.
Even for the ones that wont win the money, they will still loose so we all will bebefit.
    Good luck.

Thanks for the encouragement. I don't know how many people at work are trying to lose. I am pretty shy and introverted. That would explain not getting onto the boards before now :-)

Perhaps that is something else I need to add to my must change list.
