Playboy - Playgirl

Several weeks ago, my friend and I were joking about Hugh Heffner and his Playboy life, etc, etc.
After several minutes of discussion, we can see how Playboy did so well. Let's face it, guys love "boobs", so it's not a shock Playboy has made millions.

We then hit Playgirl. We don't know any ladies who read it, buy it, etc...? We can only assume a girl loves a good stiffy as much as a guy loves a nice set of knockers. Someone must be buying it, right?

Our question: who does buy it? Teenage girls, older, single ladies, etc.....

Lol, this. In fact go to Men's bodybuilding contests and the majority of supporters are gym rats and gay men.

My guess would be something like:

    60% Gay man
    40% Females

Playboy always was more know as a sex mag for intellectuals - not just plain porn but also some interesting erotic content to read. I assume Playgirl would follow similar concept. And I imagine females would find that more appealing, at least according to popular stereotypes the females don't really like porn. And that's prolly the majority of audience of these mags, who wanna read something interesting, cos there are so much free porn at internet.

Anyways, I don't know any man who buys Playboy either. There are just so much free porn and erotic at internet. And that's all most of the guys want, right? They don't usually care about content apart from pictures.

The only time I've heard of a woman purchasing Playgirl is as a gag gift for a bachelorette party or something like that. I seriously doubt many of the magazine's 'readers' are actually women.

I've never bought any porn mags at the newsstand. I'd assume most ladies won't admit they buy or subscribe to playgirl even if they do. I think the gay community probably has some magazines more suitable to their tastes, so I'd assume about half their readership to be women

I don't like "stiffies" unless it belongs to my boyfriend. All other "stiffies" gross me out.
