Hello,
My name is Andrea and I started fitness pal this summer and lost 7 pounds. But I got sick of tracking and thought oh I will just remember what to not eat and I will be fine. Well that backfired in my face!! I have gained almost all the weight back and now I am giving it a second try. Any tips on just sticking with the program? I tried inviting friends and family members to motivate me but they have all done the same thing as me. I think I need to just suck it up and make a dedication to myself and my health. If anyone would like to add me as a friend for accountability on my part I would LOVE it!

You've answered your own question when using the system correctly you lost weight, when you stopped you gained weight.
So you have three choices continue to abstain and gain, use system log everything and lose, or find another method that works for you.
It takes only a few minutes for me to log all food and exercise daily and the benefits have been, improved health, 3lbs a week loss, and its free so a few minutes effort is a small price to pay! Once most of your foods and exercise are on your list it gets easier and quicker to log everything so give it a chance.0 -
Ask yourself why didn't you log the food? And I mean ask, not blame. Was getting to the computer too out of your way? Did you just plain forget it?
Because I likely would forget too much (and I spend my day in front of a computer), but I installed the mobile app so I can jot the food down quickly, no problem.
If you don't have a phone, just write it on a small notepad, you can get those in a store for super cheap (or expensive if you want) this may be easier for you to write down and then write everything in for the last week at once.0 -
Get a food scale if you don't have one. Log everything you eat/drink every single day.
