Knee micro fracture surgery

I was wondering if anyone has had this and the recovery time? I have small area missing but, the pieces of cartilage floating completely locked my knee up one night. I was fine at 4 am then at 5 am completely disabled. I believe it is in a none weight bearing area. I haven't been able to straighten my leg out in one week know. Any advice is welcome. Thanks
