I'm trying to eat every 3 hours, 5 times a day. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner. Breakfast at 5 am and dinner no later than 5 pm.

I never timed them. No point to it. Sometimes I eat 12 hours apart, sometimes I'm hungry half an hour later. I only pay attention to macros and calories, as that is all that matters.

Also, if you aren't eating from 5pm to 5am, you aren't eating every 3 hours.

yeah, but anything consumed after 5pm instantly turns to fat...

Breakfast, if I do eat breakfast, between nine-thirty and eleven a.m.
    .
Lunch, if I eat lunch, sometime between eleven and three p.m.

Dinner, anytime between six and nine p.m.

I don't always eat all meals, depends on whether I'm busy with something else. This morning I didn't bother with breakfast because I was harvesting and washing Jerusalem artichokes. Had lunch at one p.m. Not particularly important to me.

Here's a weekday....which varies depending on when I go to the gym..and when I wake up.:

    7:00 - Breakfast
    10:00 - Snack
    11:30 - Pre Lunch
    1:00 - Lunch
    4:30 - Snack
    7:30 - Post Workout
    8:30 - Dinner
    9:30 - Snack

    Weekend...which doesn't follow any logic:

    9:00 - Small breakfast
    11:00 - Post Workout
    12:30 - Lunch
2:30 - Giant Snack (Yesterday I had about 25 pancakes with peanut butter)
    5:30 - Liquid Snack (Beer)
Midnight - Dinner (6 Cheeseburgers, Fries, 2 Chicken Sandwiches)

All meals are pretty healthy unless specified..

Um. You know. Whenever the mood hits.

I usually work out then do coffee, try to have some good by noon and be done eating by 9. Not because of meal timing or anything, but because I try to be asleep by around that time.

I eat whenever I want to eat/whenever I have time to eat.

Usually that ends up being three meals and some snacks.

I do 8/16 IF as part of my maintenance plan-

break my fast at around 11am, usually with a large, dinner plate sized salad

    green smoothie around 2pm

6ish I have a whole grain with veggies or fruit mixed in

if I want a snack I'll have it at around 7ish, but I don't have one every day.

    during working days:
7:30a (or 8a, my schedule flexes a bit) - breakfast
    11a - snack
1p - lunch if I'm hungry, otherwise I get lunch and save it for around 2-2:30p.
Somewhere between 5-6p we'll have dinner.
    Bed around 10p.

Off days, I'll have 'brunch' around 10-11a, then we'll have dinner around 4p, and a snack later in the evening.

This, although I have to wait for hubby for dinner, which kinda sucks.

I eat whenever i am hungry or feel like eating!
  • My meals are based around my classes. I usually have two meals - breakfast & dinner. Lunch becomes two-three snacks that I fit in between classes.

I usually eat right after I get up, and the longest gap between my meals happens right after breakfast. I normally won't get hungry until a few hours later, which is when I'll grab some snacks or another meal and eat that. Towards the end of the day, the spacing gets less wide as I tend to lean more towards snacking than actual platefuls of food (usually 1-2 hours is the max I go between snacking). There's no real rhyme or reason to it--this is just the pattern I've naturally fallen into.

I don't eat regular meals to be honest. Some days i just snack all day and never actually get to sit down and eat a meal, some days i only eat one really big meal. Depends on what my day is like.

It depends. Anywhere from 2-5 hours. I usually eat breakfast before or around 9 am, a snack, then lunch between noon and 3, another snack, and dinner between 6 and 9, then dessert :)

Why are you eating dinner so early? Unless you go to bed at 8 pm, won't you be hungry before bed again?

Is there supposed to be a time period between each meal??

I eat all day long.. that's why there are times listed in my meal labels.. So i can see what times I am hungrier and if i'm over eating.. perhaps switch up what I eat to something more substantial and less calories.

I co-workers tease me because every time they come in my office I am eating something differernt. LOL

15-60 minutes. I eat ALL day. Sometimes I wait about 3 hours before starting just because I don't get a chance to eat before I get to work. I eat right up until bedtime.

I eat when I'm hungry. If I'm not, why not save the calories for something bigger when I am?

I'm not even going to bother separating if I'm hungry. As long as they are not every 30 or so minutes, I will stuff my mouth, granted I stay within my calorie range lol. If I'm done for the day, water will have to do.

I eat when I'm hungry. I usually have some plan on what I'm going to eat during the day, but when I eat it all depends on when I'm hungry.

I found that I need to eat every 3 hours or so during the day...or else I get hungry (and cranky). Ask me how I know?!

    7am: breakfast
    10am: Meal 1
    1pm: Meal 2
    5pm: veggie/fruit smoothie
    7pm: dinner

    Sometimes a small snack too...
