Is too much sugar doing bad?

Hi everyone,
I've only been using myfitnesspal for a few weeks, and I've noticed that I almost always go over on my sugar count. I have no trouble staying under for my calories, protein levels are good as are carbohydrates and fats. But sugar keeps going over due to fruits, milk, etc. Is this a problem for my weightloss goal?
Hope you can help! Thanks

Unless you have a reason to track your macros, don't worry about them. MFP doesn't differentiate between process sugar and fruit sugar so it's a pretty useless thing to try to track.0

You can also change your diary settings (under food/settings or under My Home/settings -- either one) so that you don't even see sugar, and track something else you care about instead (e.g., sat fats or iron).0
