GNC Body fat scale?

I went to GNC today to pick up a blender bottle, and they had a body fat scale outside the shop.. Never measured my body fat % before, so I decided to try it out.. but OMG, it told me that I'm in bad bad BAD shape !!!! How accurate do you guys think this scale is ???

Weight: 150 lb
Height : 5' 9"
BMI : 22
Body fat mass : 40.7 lb
Body fat % : 27% !!!!!!!!!!

so put off by this reading!

those number fit squarely into average. your body fat percentage will naturally be higher due to the...uhhh...frontal lobal region *makes hand gestures*.

but seriously, that's average.
