Newbie

Well here I am again, once I "go it alone" all the old bad habits creep back in and I am now here again to get me on the straight and hopefully "narrow".

I am a 42 year old female. After 10 years of unsuccessfully trying to have a baby (including numerous attempts at IVF) my husband and I have decided to adopt. We are currently in the early stages of the adoption process and I thought this would be an ideal time to get myself a bit fitter and start some healthy eating habits. Having spent the day with my friend's 4 year old recently, I was totally exhausted by the end of the day, so I think a fitness overhaul is required if we are going to have 2 of our own soon.

We have 2 dogs and now they are well into their retirement (one is an amazing 16 and the other is 12) I really miss my hour long walks twice a day. All we seem to manage now is a 30 minute plod around the park :)

So here we go, I am determined to do at least 30 minutes of exercise every day, and make some really healthy but filling meals.

Good luck to everyone embarking on this journey, we can do it!!!
