Energy to work out is needed

I realize I'd have to consult with my doctor prior to taking anything, but can anyone point me in the direction of a good energy supplement to help me? The "catch" is that DH & I are currently TTC so I can't just take anything. I'm wondering if there is anything natural you can suggest & I can ask my doctor about it? TIA.

Food is fuel! Why not just eat something prior to a workout?0

maybe you need to look at your diet if you dont feel you have enough energy to work out?0

I eat an apple or banana about 30 minutes prior to my workout.0

I have a tablespoon of peanut butter on wheat bread before I work out. Otherwise, just do the tablespoon of peanut butter!0

What's your calorie goal?0

Honestly you'll probably be tired before you start a consistent workout regiment. Once you start working out, that will help to energize you throughout the day. Best fuel out there is food. Like the previous suggestions said, an apple, a banana, peanut butter, are all really good readily available snacks to eat prior that won't wreck your day! But I promise, once you start working out, you will have more energy anyway. Somewhat counter-intuitive, but it is true!0

If you don't have the energy to exercise then you need to take a look at your diet and sleep habits rather than looking for a pill to fix it.0

Why do you think you need an "energy supplement"?
Unless you are going to be doing an exhausting two hour plus workout then just workout and stay hydrated.

THIS! Try getting some natural caffeine in your body like an apple before your work out and make sure you drink plenty of water ( people think they are but aren't, if you are thirsty then you are already dehydrated! so the amount of water you have to drink would be more than normal to replace and replenish what you haven't consumed.)
Also protein, protein, protein, eat complex carbs that are slow burning rather than the simple carbs that burn quickly and have excess sugars!0
