Hey guys. I'm back on the app. I tend to use it, forget about it, and use it again lol.

For the past few months I've been making slow, easy, permanent changes to my diet. I have cut out sodas, except for the very occasional one. I have shifted my largest meal to breakfast rather than dinner. I have been eating fast food much less and cooking alot more. Etc

I have also been walking to school most days of the week (3 miles round trip) and trying to add in little bouts of strength training and yoga. I don't have an exercise routine yet, but I feel like anything is better than sitting on the couch.

I am frustrated because I have only lost 5 lbs in three months, so my bf suggested that I start counting calories again, because although I'm eating healthier I'm still probably eating too much.

So here I am - back again. And I've formed good habits to help me kick fat away for good! For once, it doesnt seem overwhelming - Ive already made the changes. I just have to cut down the portion sizes, and make myself exercise more...

So cheers to kicking my diet into high gear :)

To me it's amazing what we think is lower calorie and healthier sometimes isn't. Unless your just eating vegetables some things suprised me. For instance those premade salads at the grocery deli with teh lettuce and veggies and a few toppings, ie cobb salad, have a lot of calories or at least more then I thought. Or I went to Target and they have premade deli wraps. They were higher calories then some of the sandwiches. Even a veggie wrap had more calories then a roast beef flatbread sandwich! i spend so much time reading labels. It's time consuming but it's a learning experience. If i weren't counting the calories I eat I probably would not have lost what I have so far. Some days are easy, some I feel like I am starving myself. Best of luck!

Welcome back! Sounds like you've made a lot of changes, and need some tweaking now to find out what those surprise calories are and at what level you should be eating.
