Since the colder weather is here and when Im already cold I do not want to drink cold water. Would you count tea as water?

I do, but it's up to you if you want to count it, or just count plain water.

Something to note, most tea has caffeine in it. This is a dieretic meaning your body will actually want to release water which you will pass. Depending on the caffeine content, you may or may not want to add this as water. A good rule of thumb is for every 100mg of caffeine, add 8oz to your daily wanter intake...

Although caffein is a diuretic, the volume that you would have to consume to be noticable is alot, if its wet count it, we get alot of water from other source than the tap, fruite vegs etc so you don't have to get the magic 8 cups a day, drink what you want till its a pale yellow colour.

There's water in it, is there not? I count tea as water. I count whatever I put in it as calories for the day too. Since I'm out of coffee, I'm drinking tea in the morning with my breakfast.

I don't log water, but if I did, I would certainly count my tea. I would even count the V8 I had earlier. I would count every drink I had that was non-alcoholic.

I drink plain unsweetened green tea all day long. I detest drinking plain water. So yes, I count the gallon of plain greentea as water.

I count it, as long as I have as much water as tea during the day, and it's not too strong. It IS a diuretic...
