Anyone have a recommendation of a kitchen scale? I am overwhelmed by choices, lol.
Yes, I looked up the Thermomix and gasp! I would be too afraid of not using it I think.
Amazon has some nice ones. Here is the one I recently bought... (I replaced it for my old one which only weighed in ounces)

❤ NuWave cooktop
❤ NuWave oven
❤ FoodSaver v4865 vacuum sealer
❤ Crock-pot
As you can tell, i'm THAT lazy in the kitchen lol. I hardly even use my stove or oven anymore.
I live alone. So i have no problems with my kitchen appliances.
Some are a bit pricey, but at least i'm saving a heck of alot money & not wasting food :laugh:0 -
I love my scale and my toaster oven.
I need a better blender though. I bought a cheap one for smoothies/shakes and it just doesn't cut it, but I don't want to spend a lot... but surely there's something out there around $100 that makes good ones, can crush ice easily etc?
I heard that the Ninja is good but not sure what the pricing is. To be honest I have a Oster blender and it totally works great for crushing ice! I think ours was about $70?0 -
I think a kitchen scale is a must if you're dieting, otherwise it's too hard to count calories accurately.0

I had never heard of a spiralizer but I think I may have to get one. Zucchini pasta would be an alternative to spaghetti squash. What else can you make with it??0

I couldn't live without my crock pot! lol I cook soooooooo much in it. Makes my life easier working the night shift. Just throw whatever i feel like in there when i get home, and i have a nice hot meal to eat when i get up!0

Depending on which one you get, you can spiralize any firm fruit or vegetable. I have the Gefu Spirelli, and the only drawback is that it works best with long, cylindrical fruits and veggies. I've only used it for carrots and zucchini so far, but I actually CRAVE zucchini noodles. I had them again last night. I prefer them to actual pasta, and 100 grams of zucchini is only 16 calories, compared to pasta which is MUCH higher, and for me at least, it's really just a vessel for the sauce.0
