Second week weigh in---frustrating. :(

I just finished my first week on MFP and I've been logging EVERYTHING that I've put into my mouth, as well as walking 5 miles a day without adding that "exercise" into my daily calorie log. I'm only down 1.2 pounds-- I know that that's still a loss, but I thought it was going to be more.
I am planning on weighing myself again tomorrow morning, first thing, to see if that makes a difference. It's about 4:30 my time and I've eaten 2 full meals and about 80 oz of water throughout the day.
I actually work at a doctor's office, but we use a cheap-o Wal-Mart scale, so it might be that...I might just have to wait (weight....haha) until I visit my doctor in two weeks to see how things are going.
Mostly I'm just venting, but do you see pretty significant scale fluctuations? Erf.

1 pound in a week is not bad
weigh first thing in the morning and see what you got0 -
You'll be fine don't give up....I always weigh myself in the morning not after a day of eating0

Though 1 lb feels like nothing, it's GREAT progress! Keep up the good work. Don't get too obsessed with the scale. Pick one day each week to weigh (in the morning) and don't get back on the scale until next week. I've done this to myself before and the fluctuation can be as big as 5 lbs for me. Whatever you do, don't give up!0

That is a normal amount of pounds lost for one week. It didn't take you one week to put the weight on, it won't take you one week to lose it. Stick with it!
That being said, its always best to weigh yourself first thing in the morning after a trip to the bathroom. Its normal to have weight fluctuations throughout the day.
Good luck0 -
Definitely nothing to dismiss. 1.2lbs in a week is pretty good. Remember that's 62lbs a year! I'd be pretty happy is I could reliably produce even 1.0lb every week!
BTW I can vary 6-8lbs in a single day!0
