I just switched from a 2-3 day a week total body routine to a upper/lower split 4 days a week. I've only been lifting consistently for about two months but I love it. I aim for as heavy as I can and still hit a certain number of reps per set.

HIIT 3x's a week! I'm a firefighter so it's difficult at the station on shift days.

3 days. I'm a runner and I do a complete circuit covering all muscle groups (mostly core) m-w-f. Right now I'm doing 3 sets of 5-7 reps at a fairly heavy weight, trying for "explosive" action.

    Total body 3x per week.

Usually do horizontal push/pull one workout and vertical lifts the next.

Three times a week, HST full body routine. Predominantly compounds with a couple isolation lifts thrown in to round out.

    4 days a week.

3x5 on compound moves and 3x10-20 on all accessory lifts.

was following 5/3/1 but fell off programming for a bit (my mind and life got in the way) trying to rebuild some strength and heal an IT band issue. hope to be back on 5/3/1 soon.

4 day split and a fith accessory day if I'm up for it. I'm also running 4 days a week so I hardly ever "feel" like it.
