Switching From the Gym to 30 Day Shred Temporarily? Or?

So I've been working out regularly at the gym for the last 7 months from 3-6 days per week combining 30-60 mins of cardio and 30-60 minutes of weight/strength training.
I've been enjoying that but recently I decided to try the 30 day shred by Jillian Micheals and decided I was going to stick with it. The first few days I was pretty sore mostly in my knees so I decided I wouldn't go the gym and it's great for my schedule as I was putting in 2 hours at the gym and I get a pretty great workout in 27 minutes BUT my concern is that it's not enough.
Has anyone done something similar and did you still go to the gym and what did you do? I think I definitely can still make it to the gym, maybe just go lighter on leg day and definitely do upper body strength since I don't have free weights at home.
I only went to the gym once last week.. But still feel great, so, recommendations? I think I'm still going to to get to the gym but maybe do less cardio and work on upper body strength more.
Appreciate any info or experience. Thanks.

I know a lot of people who'll do cardio at home and use the gym specifically for strength training so why not? If you enjoy it, figure out a way to make it work!
I'm more of an at-home-workout kinda gal (saves me cash) but you as long as you enjoy it, why not?0
