Hey there! I just recently joined myfitnesspal for the first time, although it isn't the first time I've tried tracking my intake. It's so hard to stick to it, especially when trying to figure out the nutritional value for a portion of a recipe made from scratch. For me it has been especially difficult because I would justify not tracking with the excuse that I generally eat healthy foods. Like you, I've not lost any weight by just "eyeballing" and keeping a mental record. I'm hoping that the accessibility of myfitnesspal along with its integration with my Runtastic app make it easier than ever to keep on top of things.

A tip that I've been sharing lately is look into the app Fooducate. I have an iPhone 5, I'm not sure what you have, but they also have a website. This app "grades" products in the grocery store based on their nutritional value and compares it to similar products. You have the ability to customize it to your specific dietary needs and goals (i.e GMO free, low sodium, vegetarian/vegan etc.) to see how specific products shape up to your specifications. Not only that, it's community driven for it's growth and it offers healthier alternatives to consider. I know that it's been a huge eye opener for me and it helps me to focus on the quality of my meals as opposed to just the calories.

Good luck to you in your goals!
