What is a run

How do you designate what a run is. At what speed does a walk become a jog and a jog become a run? I don't know what to tell my up about the activity I'm doing because I don't want to over estimate calories

Running has a point where neither foot is touching the ground. Very briefly so, but no foot contact. At least that's how I've had it explained.

If you're trying to log it using MFP's exercise calculator, it just does speeds, so you can log it under "walking x speed", even if you are running or jogging.
