Great Changes in 8 Months

A little bit about me...

In March of 2012 I had my son but during my pregnancy, I had a separated pubic bone and could barely walk most days without being in excruciating pain. It wasn't until October/November of 2012 that I felt I could start spinning again without being uncomfortable. So in February of this year, I buckled down, started back on the C25K program. I completed that and decided to try for a half marathon.

I watched what I ate, worked out 6 days a week (3 running and 3 spinning) and about 1 1/2 weeks ago, completed my first half marathon. I never thought that I would be able to do this! Now I am looking for other 5k, 5 miles, 10K and half marathons to do! I love my new lifestyle and the fact that I have lost 35 pounds since February! Since training for my half is officially slowing down, I have started lifting heavy weights again and man do I feel great!!!

I still have about 12 more pounds to go to get to my first goal and then another 10-15 after that for my ultimate goal. I know that I might not be able to get to my ultimate goal but I am making great changes and feel so much better!

Just had to share and hope that you are working towards your goals, no matter how big or small they are!
