Word to the wise: BodyMedia acquired by Jawbone

I hadn't heard until today that BodyMedia was recently acquired by Jawbone. I hope this means that Jawbone will work on new and better versions of the BodyMedia products, but it could also mean the end of that product line. Since the Jawbone UP (while a nice device in many ways) leaves a lot to be desired in terms of estimated calories burned, it might be time to go ahead and get a BodyMedia device if you've been on the fence about it.
