Giving the site another try. Used the site right after Katrina when I went up to 216 lbs. Depression? Maybe. I lost my way back down to 160 and I was content for a while. Too content, perhaps.

I am a 24 year old female from New Orleans. 4'11, I'm a short one!

Starting Weight: 200lbs
Goal:150

Living in the "food capital' isn't easy on your pants size. I need some friends to help me stay motivated. ANY tips at all would help.

Since Thursday I managed to lose 6 lbs already. Not enough to notice, but I can feel the change. I only made a few changes and I am already seeing results on the scale. I have been walking my dog for 2 hours daily (one in the morning, one after work) and counting calories, along with using the stairs instead of elevators at work. I hate salads but I have been eating them for lunch daily along with raw veggies and some grapes or apple slices when I have a craving for sweets. I need some variety before I slip! Help! What can I eat that is low in calories that I wont regret?

a cup of strawberries (halved) with a teaspoon of sugar is my favourite treat! the strawberries are sweet on their own but sometimes I just want something extra sweet.
