Happy Friday Pepper's,
Well did the shred again this morning. I dragged myself to do it but completed it and will keep doing it everyday. I did loose a pound this week , weight 193 and feel very good. Patted myself on the back this morning :laugh: :laugh:
Well the train broke down this morning and was late for work. so very busy for Friday. (my boss is still not here her car broke and had to get a new battery this morning too). Happy Friday the 13th. :laugh: :laugh:

TGIF! a 1.6 GAIN this week. at 183.8 today. Ready to bust outta these 80's. 178.4 will be 2 mini goals for me ( from May 28) 10% lost AND 20 lbs lost. I want(ed) to reach this by Aug 28...and that is 15 days away. Not likely to happen. TOM will be approaching, and school starts in 5 days. ( gotta watch the stress here ) So, my routine is gonna change, but I am gonna remain focused and the main thing is progress. I really want to keep with the exercise and hope for some more inches gone when I measure the 28th.
Just keep pluggin away team. Keep with our mantra ..One Day At A Time.. Plan your meals, and prep as much as you can. Take that water with ya, everywhere!! AND....MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!

Thanks Kelly, It can get crazy. I stopped setting weight goals because I get so upset with myself when I dont reach them whick leads to stress and you know where that leads (comfort food). I wont do it I will do what Barb said One Day At A Time.
You will get settled again, I have been doing this since 2008 and I am still trying to get it right. It is not easy and we did not get this way overnight, took me years. So if it takes me years to take off (it is what it is) . We will get through this together.

Hi ladies.... anyone heard how Jacque did with surgery 2?
Last week I just plain avoided a weigh in. No excuse... wasn't going to happen.
On Friday, I stepped on the Curves scale after a workout and was NOT happy with what I saw. 176. I was devasted.
So, today with much hestiation, I asked wii fit to weigh me. 171.5. Not particularly pleased but it's better than 176.
Yesterday I weighed after a workout, after breakfast, etc.
Today, no food, early in morning.
So...... I was happy I did make curves 4x this week. Didn't do the wii fit as often as I wanted to. Didn't do the end of day workout as often either...
What did go right last week...... '
1) did gain some self awareness when my military unit had us do 4 different personality assessments. Interesting
2) my older daughter's behavior/attitude is improving
3) Dave & I went out to lunch
4) went to a friend's house and enjoyed their pool & hot tub. Hot tub good.... very good..,,Santa can you bring me one!
It's a goregous day in NJ. 80 and low humidity. I spent the Saturday outside reading, handing laundry up, writing a letter to my penpal in germany, just soaking up this beautiful day.

Good Evening Pepper's,
Well very busy day, it is no sales tax week end and went out early this morning and finished shopping with MIl late this afternoon. Very fun. it was planned and we got all the materials for our yard project and camping chairs for our trip coming up. Did not do the shred this morning I was quit sore and did not want to push it. I will be weeding and raking tomorrow morning and setting up for the church ladies to come over for a cook out. So another busy day but with exercise no shred until Monday. Will try to do durning the week and yard work on the week ends or walk.
Barb sorry you had such a rough week. Looks like some good came out of it too. I do like that you point out the good things. Nobody looks at the possitive anymore just negatives. You get what you give yourself out of life and should enjoy the good things even if it is not everything you want

hey pepper ladies....just a quick hi....busy, crazy the last 2 days....not eating the greatest and no exercise. but, I am ok with it...I am not upset or angry with myself. life is just happening and I feel strong and positive about what I HAVE accomplished. I am so looking forward to a workout session AND...today I brought my bus home. that has me excited b/c the school year is starting and it means more of a routine for me.....not all this free time.

It's Monday....blah..... that about sums it up......
Yesterday, I purchased a $19.99 veggie/dip platter for a dinner party. Placed the platter on top of a $7.99 cookie platter. Placed both platters on the middle row, passenger seat of the minivan. Note, this seat is next to the sliding passenger door.
Well, I took a turn & heard the veggie platter slide. A quick glance showed the platter had not slid off the seat. So far, so good...
When I stopped the minivan (in my ex's driveway), I hit the button to automatically open the passenger door thinking I will readjust the veggie platter -- it readjusted alright-- splat... There goes $19.99 worth of veggies on his driveway. I wasn't able to get to the platter quick enough thus the entire platter is on the driveway. So there I was -- scooping up the mess. Sigh....
I had to return to the store & buy another platter cuz one of the guests is vegeterian and I knew she would not eat the beef tacos.
Unfortunately, my dog wasn't interested in a bowl full of veggies that hit the ground. I should have just left the veggies in the driveway for the deer but I would have heard I left a mess in his driveway. I did see 4 deer leaving my ex's development. I'm sure they would have eaten all the veggies. My dog did not.0 -
Yesterday was a bad eating day I did get some exercise but the stupid carrot cake did me in. Every time I walked by the table I said no and kept walking. All day long I avoided the cake but I was so tierd that I just picked it up and that was it. about 425 over my calories just from cake. :grumble: :grumble: ok but the cake was soooooo good :laugh: It is what it is. Did my shred this morning at 5AM took a 15 min walk and hope for the best on Friday.
I am going to VT next Monday for my camping trip with the girls. I will remind you Sat or Sun. I wont be near a computer so no logging Monday - Thursday next week I think I can keep track while away and will be doing a lot of walking so not too concerned.
Barb that stinks, I would have been ticked off.

hey folks...just a quick hi....have not read anything above me...oldest son and I were in a car accident this afternoon....still shook up a bit and pain in my R upper arm, shoulder, collar bone, neck, and for some reason nauseated for 5 hrs now......thinking tomorrow and Wednesday might be worse, pain wise. very fortunate the impact wasn't any farther back...I would have been hit directly. so, after many tears, sadness, and taking this all in, I am mentally exhausted. will check in tomorrow. nite all0

Was under my calories yesterday, did shred again today. It is hot and muggy today. My knee's are starting to hurt but I just adjust the exercise so it does not hurt during. I am just starting to get into this work out and now knee's bothering me (not fair).:grumble: I want to do so much more but my body is fighting me every step, just making it challenging.
Well should be busy at work all this week to make sure everything is all set for my vacation next week.

Cindy ~ my son and the other person ( that hit us ) are both fine. I slept horrible last nite. have been up since 4am. my muscles (upper R side of body/neck) are a little sore today, and I am pretty sure I don't have any spinal/neck injuries....course that could be a bother down the road. I feel a stress headache coming on, and possibly a nap later. I have quite a few things to do today to get my bus ready for the first day tomorrow. It has been 5 days since I have done any form of exercise. :frown: I know I should do something, but I feel so drained right now. I know it would help the stress...take care of that knee, and just do what you can...I think being consistent is powerful! and a vacation coming up for you...now that is some good news!:bigsmile:0 -
Kelly glad you and your son are ok. Even if you take a short walk it would help with stress, but you may want to take a hot shower and relax a bit stretch out the sore muscles. Get better.
I have not taken a vacation in about 18 years. I have had days off, but I would work another job never went anywhere. I am so excited. The girls are going camping in VT and having some fun :drinker:

mornin folks....well, being back in the bus feels GOOD! :bigsmile: We had fog, but wasn't bad enough for a delay. I am not as sore today, yay! am heading out the door for a walk...I hope the pollen count isn't too bad, and if it is, that I tolerate it! Will do some strength and stretching as well. Well did the shred again today and stayed under my calories yesterday. Cant really say it is easier, but my form is getting better. My knee is still bothering me but only during two of the exercises and I adjusted them slightly and it helps. I dont want to stop want at least 5 days, will try to do it on the week end too.

Happy Thursday! Well, nobody cried or vomited on the bus yesterday!! Never know bout them kindergartners!! Seems like they get them prepared more and more each year. I even think they do an 'open house' the eve of the first day! That would probably make me worse! Anyway, it was a good day, YAY! 1 hr long in the am ( 32 miles ) and about 15 minutes shorter in the afternoon! It's only been one day and I am really liking my route already!
Didn't do too well with my exercise plan tho. Gettin ready to send oldest son off to college Fri...wishin more of HIS room was going with him!:grumble: We went thru this 2 yrs ago, when he elected to move out and live in an apt w/some friends. He was back home by Xmas! We don't know about his car yet. Not sure if it is repairable or totaled. I have noticed some new bruises today, but most of my bad pains are now just aches.

Well did not do shred this morning I am going to try to do 3 days, 1 walk, then 3 days. giving me a kinda rest on walk days. It will be all messed up for next week will be hiking around nature walks and stuff so plenty of exercise while on vacation. They Friday back to shred and work. As Barb says one day at a time. :bigsmile:
