What you need to do is regulate your blood sugar levels. If your insulin response is sluggish, or overactive and you're yo-yoing between high and low blood glucose levels, you're going to feel pretty crappy, gain weight, and have crashes.
Eliminating or greatly reducing added sugars in your diet is the best thing you can do.
You can do this by following various low carbohydrate diet plans (Atkins, Protein Power, South Beach, etc.).
Do some research and figure out what you can stick with, and talk to your doctor.0
