Exercising after bed rest

Hello. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for programs after a long sedentary period. I had my daughter 9 weeks ago, and I was on bed rest for a total of 26 weeks. I've been walking a few days a week when I get the chance, but I feel totally weak. I'm afraid of pushing myself too hard (I had a c-section also) so any suggestions are welcome!

Think you are on the right track. Walking is a good place to start. You can also start with minor resistance training (push ups, lunges, squats, planks, etc..) until you feel strong enough to get into a harder program.0
