Feeling unmotivated

Hello everyone,
One and a half months ago I started a weight loss program. As of today I have lost 25 pounds, but I feel horrible. It is hard to describe but I guess I have to say I just am losing motivation. I love to eat and have been eating stuff I have never really eaten in the past to try to turn my health around. I see absolutely zero changes when I look in the mirror, and my abdominal fat/muffin tops look as bad as ever.
Please help me out here. How do I stop being so negative, any support from people who have also been in a similar position?
I really appreciate it.

I've lost 33lbs and I'm in the same boat as you! I started the below group to relight that motivation again. Maybe it will work for you too?

I would ask what you're doing to get that weight off because if it's not making you feel good, DON'T DO IT! To get the weight off and keep it off involves a lifestyle change and to create a lifestyle change you need to incorporate healthy habits you can live with. Does that make sense?
Feel free to friend me and we can chat further!0 -
Losing 4 pounds a week is really fast and can definitely make you feel like crap. Your ticker says that you only have a bout 28 pounds left to lose. Maybe try eating a little more in the coming weeks and lose a little slower.
As far as motivation, it is very fleeting. Building healthy habits is the only way to lose weight and then keep it off. Give yourself time for that to happen.0 -
If you are not eating things you can see yourself eating for the rest of your life and building habits and routines you can carry on, the weight loss will only be temporary. Eat foods you like but within calories and incorporate new foods that you like and will continue to eat. You have lost quickly and your body needs time to adjust. I did not see my weight loss until I started water calisthenics. We use various "toys" for resistance in the water. Have you been doing any weight lifting?0

We all want instant gratification whether it be to be wealthy, healthy, and/or thin. It is so cliche to say you didn't put the weight on overnight so it is going to take awhile to take off. The first two months I lost a total of 23lbs. This month--I've lost 4lbs. I'm doing a lot of things right, but I'm also doing a lot of things wrong. To me it is a gradual process. I first started exercising. Then when I got into a routine, I started cutting down my calories--while still exercising. Now what I need to do is actually dive into the calories I am consuming and have them work in my favor. I eat a lot of crap food. Sure--I typically stay under my goals--but am I getting the most that I can out of the food I eat? No. So, that is my next step. Hopefully it starts the weightloss fire again. Don't give up!!!!0
