good Morning Everyone! I've been on this journey since January and have lost a total (some before mfp) of 60 pounds. It seems like I'm alway thinking of rich, fried, or junk food to eat. I haven't done it, but really getting tempted. Now it's Halloween and there is candy everywhere. I know what this is coming from (financial issues) so I'm trying to be positive, but it's getting hard. I'm really trying to wait until thanksgiving to give myself a break, but I getting weak fast! What do others do when faced with these situations? I was thinking about doing a maintenance for about a week (maybe the week of thanksgiving, but will that help? I'm usually good about going back to my routine the day after I do a high calorie meal. any suggestions?

I don't deny myself when I have a craving for something, but I try to keep it to a small amount. That way, I can have it everyday, I log it, and I don't explode into a candy-feasting frenzy. Have what you want, keep it moderate, and log it.0

Stop watching television! Damn food porn. I have the same temptations at times and I just assert my will over myself that I will NOT give in to my stomach no matter what. When you constantly see it, your subconscious begins to take over it seems. I play video games instead of watching TV...less commercials trying to influence my diet.0
