4ft 10 in SAHM of 2 toddlers

I'm just curious about something I'm starting to feel lost ..I have lost 30 lbs so far since Jan 1st of this year. I have been mostly consistent with my calorie intake but not perfect. I lost that weight in about 8 months , here I'm now and well my loss has stalled .I have upped my calories from where they were in the first few months went from 1200 to 1300 and even 1400 mind you at 1400 I gained 3 lbs back ouch, anyways not sure where I go from here ?

I do not exercise much ill be honest my exercise is home based vigorous cleaning , and taking care of my 3 year old and 19.5 month old so whatever that entails .

I'm 29 years old

I'm mostly sedentary to be honest I feel lightly active is getting out of the house more so which I don't since my husband and I share a car and he usually has it since he works and attends college. I take walks but not far because my children are so small still .

I looked up the scoobyworkshop site it gave this

BMR
1316

calories per day to lose 0.6 lbs a week is 1263

I have it at 20 % less

Is 20% to aggressive for where I'm now ?

my goal is 106 by my 30th birthday which is Feb 9th .

If I put in lightly active my
BMR 1316

calories per day needed are 1448 for a 0.7 lbs a week lost

Feeling lost I just want to be smaller , was never overweight till after my 2 pregnancies one day shy of 19 months apart .

I had GD during my last pregnancy because of my weight , luckily I was cleared after pregnancy and my youngest daughter too:)

Any help would be great
I do no know much about macros and if I where in weight training I might but I never will be , its for some people but not for me.

I feel that my loss so far has been gradual enough why cant I lose the last 16 in next 3 months? or close

I think you have BMR and TDEE mixed up. Your BMR is your calories needed to survive in a coma. You don't deduct anything off of that. If you want to use that method then find your TDEE (I'd choose sedentary based on your description of your days, housework is not exercise) and you don't have a lot to lose so aim for no more than a 10% deduction. You may gain a bit if you up your calories but that's just your body replenishing itself because you've been low calorie for so long. You are short but you're probably still undereating based on my BMR at 5'2" and 56 yrs old.

Your children are the perfect ages to be great weights. There are lots of free exercises you can find to do with them on the internet. My kids would laugh and giggle themselves silly as I used them as ankle weights. My legs were tired and burning when I was done. You can also pop in a kids tape and silly dance with them. Having toddlers is no excuse for being sedentary.

I have a three year old and a 17 month old. I have my setting as lightly active since the description stated a teacher as the occupation and I feel I am standing much of the day doing things with them and around the house. Can you get your kids down for a nap together? If your three year old is done with naps mine will last through about 10 minutes of working out with me. I have these little barbell dog toys that she uses to try to do the exercises. After that she is normally okay with playing with some toys for the next 20 minutes. She still naps most days though so as soon as I put them down for a nap, I do a 30 minute workout DVD by Jillian Michaels and get it done. I really leaves me no time for talking myself out of it because I have to get it done and a shower before they wake up.

Congrats on what you have accomplished so far. I would try to find something short and effective and try adding it to your routine. My calorie levels are set at 1200 and after working out I can usually eat 1450-1600 a day.

Thank you to all who have responded , my oldest takes one nap around 2 and its 2 hrs long , my youngest takes 2 naps still, tried to make it down to one and well lets just say that week sucked none of us got much sleep ...she sleeps from 10 to 12 than 4 to 6 or 6 to 7 than bedtime at 8 or 8:30 than plays with her sister for a bit they have to share a room . My youngest likes to crawl and walk underneath ,me when I exercise and or always be under my feet so to say my oldest well she just complains the that her shows are not on typical tantrum throwing 3 year old why cant this phase just be skipped lol anyways , I need to figure it out I suppose just having a time getting back into exercising again I need something I can do for 30 mins that burns as many calories as possible in one sitting not sure what that is though ..

Well I have one DVD by Jillian Michael its called hot yoga or beginner first few times I tried it I felt like I was going to hurt myself no joke , my body doesn't work like that I hurt my back and for a week wasn't allowed to do much of anything and it still bothers me on occasion and knee issues family thing so I was told .
