Low cal, tasty, non-alcoholic drinks for evenings out

Ok, so first I have to admit that I drank a lot of wine last night for Halloween. I am going out for a drink tonight with the Boyf and his Dad, and I really don't feel like drinking alcohol. However, neither do I want to spend the evening drinking water. I can't drink coke and some other fizzy drinks because they give me cystitis (irritated bladder). I love fruit juice, but although it is healthy it's also high calorie. This leaves me in a dilemma. Any suggestions?

  • Gin, fresh lime and tonic is absolutely lovely and refreshing.
And as far as low calorie goes, without drinking spirits straight I feel like if you enjoy gin this could be your best option :)

Thanks for the suggestion - I do love G&T, but I wanted non-alcoholic suggestions!

I have to ask: is "boyf" an actual thing?

You said some fizzy drinks, can you have club soda? If yes maybe club soda with lime or a splash of cranberry or even grapefruit juice. Otherwise, I'd go with tea or coffee (iced).

If by "is "boyf" an actual thing?" you mean "does he exist", then yes, he is real  If you mean, is it a real word, it is in the UK amongst my friends, not sure about US or other areas / social groups within the UK.

i meant the second one. i'm not invested enough to distrust that he exists.
