5 foods to never eat--where is that ad from?

For years now I get that pesky "5 foods to never eat (cut down a bit of stomach fat by never eating these 5 foods)" ad on the side. When will that ever stop? What the hell are the people behind it paying that you get it on every, really every, even remotely related weight loss or diet or recipe site?

And what does it really promote? I tried to watch the video once but got bored when after 5 minutes it still hadn't come to the point. Has anyone watched it to the end? What are the 5 foods they want you to avoid? Who? How are they making their money out of you to finance all these ads?

Needless to say that we all know it's total nonsense, can't spot reduce with either any diet or any exercise, only with liposuction.

I'll never click to find out, but it's probably something like the ones in this article:

    Hi

You do not have to take any action on the ads on this site.

Nothing will happen to you, if you do not click on them.

MFP is a "free" site therefore they make their revenue by these ads. Otherwise, they can not afford all the IT assets and IT resources to provide the site.

    I hope it helps

My husband watched it all through once. At the end they try and get you to sign up to this site where you pay a monthly fee to get matched with a "dietitian" who tells you what to eat to lose weight. To be honest though, I think it's a scam.
