How motivational are before-and-after pictures? I was thinking of taking a bikini picture of myself now as motivation to NOT eat THAT, and then add in a new picture every four weeks to show progress. I just wonder if this might have a reverse impact (especially in the beginning when my picture isn't likely to make me feel good about myself). Has this worked for anyone? Is it a good idea or a bad one?

Pictures are a great way to monitor progress. It's especially helpful when the scale and mirror are playing tricks with our minds.0
