I love Rhianna and Nikki Minaj. Sometimes beyonce. Lots of female artists
And songs that are tied to memories. I know people like to get pumped up. I love to let my mind wander when I run and just go0 -
I love Beyonce, Katy Perry, and Rihanna but I also have a few guilty pleasures like "Poison" by Bell Biv DeVoe and "Good Vibrations" from Marky Mark and The Funky Bunch. Country music is my cool down music - "Springsteen" by Eric Church is my favorite0

I need music that smashes me in the face with a hammer. XD Keeps my energy up and keeps me moving! Some things I like to listen to:
Guns n' Roses
Disturbed
Nine Inch Nails
Eminem
Black Sabbath0 -
Anything Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, but 80's and 90's hair metal is always good. Did I date myself?0
-
Jagged Little Pill - yeh i said it
Tha Carter - Lil Wayne
Assorted music from the 90s
a bit of drake
throw in some Paramore for good measure
and some assorted R&B
Now I should probably explain. I am edgy when I am at the gym and I have that killer mentality you usually find in most professional athletes and extreme lifters. I am also aware of this, so I tend to listen to music that keeps me in a state of being mellow. Never to edgy cause if I get that way, I am liable to hurt myself and still keep going like I am possessed, thats how I tore my rotator cuff. But not too soft where i don't even push for my final set. Just right in between which keeps me focused0 -
