Fish and Potassium

I noticed something now I am tracking my potassium levels and very interested in meeting my pot goals every day. I researched and found that certain fish like salmon and talapia have high amounts of potassium. So naturally I go out and buy some expecting to up my potassium. So the other night I made some talapia fillets. They were from a frozen bag. Greatvalue Walmart brand. (hey it was a good price. Lol) When it is time to log and I scan in the bar and take a closer look at the nutrition label on the bag, potassium is not listed at all. So I don't get credit. I looked at some other packages in the store in the frozen fish aisle and notice on some of them potassium is either not listed or is NA. Is there an overlook on the labels or do some fish that you would expect to have potassium actually not contain any?

It's not a required thing to list on nutrition labels, so not everyone does, unfortunately. I've found that a lot of the database entries that don't have the asterisk on them give complete info, including potassium, so I often log meats (as well as fruits & veggies) that way rather than going with a brand name - I weigh it on my kitchen scale and go with grams or ounces.
