All foods burn energy to digest them.
Unless you go from one extreme to another, there isn't enough difference in that energy burn to matter in a day.
The ones that give you so much energy you get up and move around more are the best. But not the ones that give you the trots racing to the restroom, that's too much sitting.0 -

You know what, I'm in a pleasant mood. I'm in such a pleasant mood I'm going to assume that by "foods that burn fat" which is a rather...irrational question, you actually meant to ask "what foods help keep me full on fewer calories so I can maintain the deficit that burns fat" since it's a far more sound and reasonable question. The answer to which can be boiled down to one of two theories.
The first, which I personally favor for reasons of taste, is proteins, fats and fiber. foods high in these, like bratwurst patties (fats and protein), peanuts (honey roasted for me), chicken (protein out the butt, at very fair calorie costs) and the like will stretch your calories further by making you feel fuller longer. They do tend to be calorie dense (fats have 9clas/gram, where as proteins and carbs have 4cals/gram), so you'd be eating less food overall, but the food sticks with you, which balances things out.
The second theory is to eat calorie light (i think volumetric is the opposite of calorie dense, but don't quote me on that) foods in abundance. Instead of eating a few filling but calorie heavy foods, you eat a ton of lighter foods (think veggies here). Individually, they won't fill you anywhere near as well (3 oz of chicken will go farther than 3 oz of carrots, for example), but you can eat a larger amount of them for the same caloric cost (about 90-100 calories for the chicken vs. 30-35 for the carrots), with the added bonus of all kinds of neat vitamins and what not.
Of course, a full, balanced diet will mix these two elements, with the calorie dense food providing fullness from meals, and the calorie light foods adding extra vitamins and low-cal snacks. Weight either part as you prefer.
Also, seriously consider being more careful with your word choices "what food help burn fat" sounds like you think an energy source somehow depletes energy, and that would be a truly insane thing to think. Wouldn't want folks thinking your delusional, would we? Of course not.0 -
