I'm doing the Curves diet plan and have hit a month long plateau! What is the best way to break it? This always happens when I lose about 25 pounds and then I get stuck for a long time. I did weight watchers 3 years ago and lost 25 pounds and then got stuck for a year and ended up gaining it all back. Any advice would be appreciated. I do Curves workout 4 times a week, walk 3 times a week and now I'm adding biking on recumbent bike. I just don't want to gain all this weight that I've lost back but get so discouraged when the scale doesn't move! Thanks for your advice!

You're on a long stall. Plateaus are 6 weeks or more of no weight loss IF one have be diligently consistent. First move would be to increase your intensity. If the body adapts to a certain routine, then it becomes efficient at utilizing calories. Higher intensity increases metabolism and challenges the body. So move faster, or use more resistance.

Don't weigh yourself everyday, you should only be weighing every 2 weeks or once a month.
Are you eating moderate portions and your exercise routine should make you sweat and heart pumping for it to be effective.
If exercise too easy, doesn't work so challenge to the next step.
Are you snacking? Remove all snacks from the house and drink cordial or green tea.0
