Pet peeve for the day

Today I saw an article where someone was talking about leangains IF (a daily eating window) to successfully lose 150 kg and the "expert" comment replied "Starving yourself for two days sets up an unhealthy relationship with food."

It reminds me of the articles on 5:2 where someone refers to research that IF is dangerous for young woman but when you trace back to the article and the source research it related to a restricted daily eating window.

Other than mixing the two IF fasting approaches up, it bugs me that some "expert" has to share their 2-cents worth of "I think.." (not research based) opinion about why the method used by someone is wrong.

Yep - and it happened on here recently. Some idiot wanted to do what they called IF, but was really 1200 on the 5 normal days and 600 on the fasting days, without eating back exercise calories. Honey that ain't IF, that's just freaking stupid.
