Just curious...

NROL4W is fairly critical of people who change the workout to "add" bits. I was speaking to my trainer who thought that core strength stuff like crunches, planks, and pushups... were the kind of exercise that you can do every single day, don't need two days between workouts, and can go to failure each day. Is she right or is NROL4W right?

I can't do a proper push up, not even on my knees. I'd love to be able to do a proper knee push up by Christmas, but I don't know if trying every day is a good idea. I also had an abdominal separation after my last pregnancy and I'd like to fix that with more sit ups / crunches / planks.
