Advertising on Forums

Just wondering, given the rule about no advertising on forums, how all these graze box shills are getting away with it. Hopefully, MFP has a deal with them (they deserve the money) but if so, should the shills not just be open and tell us rather than creating all this fake fan-boi noise?
