Doing it right this time!

My name is Erin. I am a mother of twin girls and wife to a wonderful man for nearly 10 years. Last year I lost 35 lbs... by starving myself. Needless to say, I gained it all right back. This time I am doing it right. Down 15 lbs since my 30th bday in June by just simple changes in what I eat and the way I eat and little changes in my exercise habits. I was so frustrated by my fluctuating weight. Now I am starting school next week and my girls wanna run and play plus I have my vow renewal in May 2011... There are lots of reasons to get healthy. My main reason though is for me. I have to do this for me. I can not expect my kids to grow up healthy if they do not have a good rolemodel.

Welcome I am new to the site just started on Tuesday. Loosing weight is hard, I have been trying to loose this weight for several years. I would loose 50 and gain 60 or 70. In the beginning I went from just needing to loose 45-50 pounds to now needing to loose 100 because he time I loose I would gain it back plus more.
I plan on making this my last time. I am going to loose it all and keep it off. Feel free to add me as a friend if you like and good luck.0 -
I think that they key is to make it a life style change with making eating something to nourish your body rather than to fill you. Also eating the right things rather than empty calories. I am really working hard. We can cheer one another on. I think that also setting smaller reachable goals like 1-2 lbs a week or 15 lbs in 2 months... The part that sucks the most is when you are losing weight fast at the beginning and then you level off and have to change your exercise. With the right support we can all achieve our goals though! :flowerforyou:0
