hello,

just wondering if anyone has tried the slim in 6 videos??? What were your results? My mom has been doing them for a long time but she is super skinny and always has been so i cant really see her results. She keeps telling me to try them but i want to know if anyone else has and what they thought.

Thanks!

Love them, but even better is the follow-up, Slim Series.

Love it - not too hard, you get cardio and weights in at the same time.

They give good results if your consistent with them. I found them to be boring. I do like the stretch one though.

I seen a news report about it and its geared more to older women.

I think if you want to get fast and great results you should try one of these: Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs, P90X, Insanity, Charlean Extreme, Brazil Butt Lift. The hard work & dedication will pay off

Of course you know I LOVE insanity lol. Crazy how the most intense workout I love the best! lol I also have Hip Hop abs and you do break a sweat. Just that I didn't finish the program when I got it 2 years ago because I got lazy. SO of course I didn't see the results. But it's a fun work out. Brazil Butt lIft is fun too.

I read that review too, and I didn't agree (maybe that's because I'm an "older woman," LOL). I've done P90X, and I've dome Slim in 6, and I got better and faster results with SI6, especially my legs. I went straight from several months of Slim in 6 and then Slim Series to doing a round of P90X, and I lost some of the gains I'd made in my legs (but my upper body improved). Now I'm doing a hybrid of Slim Series, Slim in 6, and P90X. I feel like I'm getting the best of all three worlds now.

    Hi!
I just started the SIS this week. I can tell you I'm not a couch potato, but also not in shape (still over 40#s of my goal weight).
So I thought Debbie was going really slow on the first track- Start It up- but the next day my inner thighs, legs, chest and arms felt it (my abs were very sore, but only because I started the 200 situp challenge- initial test I did 100). I'm staying on the Start it up for the rest of this week (ok today), doing slim and limber tomorrow, and Monday I start Ramp it up- faster paced (yea!) and a few more moves, too. Haven't looked at the Burn it UP phase, but plan to check it out later today.
I think it depends on your current fitness level... good for beginners to intermediate level!

Jill, thanks for your post- I always like to know what works for others (experience=knowledge):flowerforyou:

Just wait until you try Burn It Up. You will be cursing Debbie the first few times!

Slim & Limber is nice. I did it after every SI6 workout. I'd highly recommend adding Slim & 6-Pack to your routine three days a week.

    Have fun!

thank you all for your input! :) my mom says she doesnt do slim in six anymore, she does the followup series because she found slim in 6 is too easy now. I tried insanity and could barely get through the fit test. Im currently trying to get into better shape. I just had a baby on may 15 so my stomach muscles are alot weaker than they used to be. im 143lbs and 5' 6, so im not overweight but would love to be at my prepreg weight from 3 years ago! I will try the slim in 6...hopefully it will work out for me!

    Thanks again!

After you do Slim in 6, you should borrow your mom's Slim Series workouts and see if you like those. I just finished Tear It Up, and it is a kick-*kitten* workout! It's 78 minutes of nonstop warm-up, cardio, resistance, abs, and cool-down/stretching.
