Setting a goal to lose 100 pounds by 5/1/14

I joined a DietBet and completed my official weigh in today. The DietBet is six months long, and I must lose and maintain at least ten percent of my weight before I can be considered a winner. However, I am pushing the envelope and attempting to make it just under the max of thirty percent, which is approximately one hundred pounds. This will put me right above my overall goal weight. If anyone wants to join me in this, I am Matthew S. in DietBet. If you would like to join me on here without the wager, feel free to friend me to share success stories and motivation. This will be a difficult and exciting adventure. Once I have accomplished this, I will be planning on participating in the Spartan Race that I wanted to do back in 2010. I have always been too big, but this will put me in my first competition since the Ironman competitions in 2001 and 2003, and the Hawaii parameter run in 2002 and 2003. Any advice and motivation is quite welcome, as this is a daunting task.

Wow! O_O! that is major! But I have faith in you, that you can do it!! I am still trying to figure my body out and get it burning again! This week was not kind to me as I was like " Oh! Candy." and pigged out yesterday like no ones business!! But I would love to be a part of the group on here in MFP to push and motivate myself!!

So whoever joins on the MFP motivation help, please add me as well!!

I am thankful for any support and motivation from anyone. I am very confident that I will succeed, but their are days that things seem harder than others. I love the idea that I can motivate others with my aspirations, as that drives me to try harder as well. Cheers to success my friend.
