NSV - shoveling snow!

I live near the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, and since yesterday we have been having snow non-stop. I think there's about six inches on my deck rail! Last year, shoveling snow was difficult for me. I didn't have much strength, plus I was carrying about a hundred pounds more than I am today (my ticker doesn't show the 50 I lost before I started with MFP.) It took me ages to do my little front deck, sidewalk, and driveway. Last year I was fortunate to have a couple of neighbours who pitched in a couple of times to help. I also have friends who live about 9 miles away that will come and help if I call, but of course they have to do their own (super long country) driveway first!
This year, no good neighbours (they moved), and I did it all by myself, in 50 minutes, and didn't mind one little bit! I am glad now that at the class I took at the gym (for people with chronic conditions, to get them exercising) that they showed us a few of the resistance machines. While I only have about 30 lbs on most of them, it's obviously doing me some good!
Thanks to all of you who post your successes too - they do help me to keep going onward and downward. To those of you who might be discouraged - don't give up! I don't LIKE going to the gym, but I keep on because hey, there's always more snow to shovel... (I live alone)
