Just curious to see if there are any Cyclo-Crossers on here?

Just got back from watching my first event, out at the Fairgrounds.. I can SO do that! Was a great fun event just to watch, can't wait to actually get out there and cycle the courses.

Not to mention chili cheese fries and beers LOL..

    I got into it this year but haven't been able to do an actual race yet...I did a clinic and they have cyclocross practices every Tuesday evening here on one of several courses...I ended up getting in a wreck and nursing an injury...unfortunately by the time I heal the season will be over so I'll have to wait until next fall to do an actual race.

    Yeah we've (boyfriend and I) have known about it for a couple years.. Then yesterday finally made it out to a race.. Were like 'we can do this!" so most likely won't happen this years season.. But next for damn sure!...
    Were going to go out and watch another race this weekend, and next season we'll be totally doing it! We just both need to get some new tires:)

    OMG that looks like so much fun!! As far as i know there are not any races like that here. But then i have never looked either.

    I have a Cyclocross bike but I just bought it to haul *kitten* on gravel trails. I would probably kill myself it I attempted to do a Cyclocross race.

    Ooo ya! :) and EVERYONE I've talked to say's it awesome addicting fun... Can't wait to get out there with HRM on and see what the burn is :)

    Or you would be really awesome at it.. if you can haul *kitten* on gravel :) Try the mud hehe:)

    A cross bike is the next bike I'm going to buy.

    Don't know if I have the guts to race it though! MTB racing kicks my butt as it is!

    MTB IS scary!!! I busted my wrist almost a year ago, after riding MTB for about a year. When CX season rolled-around I didn't hesitate to hop back up on that saddle! I crash a LOT less on my CX bike.
