My name is Sam :) I'm on a low carb and low calorie diet given to me by a weight loss doctor and it's been really hard to do so far. I found out I'm pre-diabetic and I have a low thyroid. I would love to make some friends and get some advice.

    Hi Sam! I'm on a very low carb/lower calorie diet too - I recently found that my diabetes was getting out of control. Thankfully I've turned it around and my numbers are looking much better since starting with low carb a few months ago. The key thing that has helped me is making sure I am eating enough fat - good fats, like avocado or coconut oil. Lots of veggies that have a high fiber count so the net carbs are very low. I'm working more on getting exercise, and that is making a difference in my energy level too. Feel free to send me a friend request if you'd like.
