do you trust scales in gym??

Ok my question is do you trust those weight machines in the gym. The ones you stand on and they tell you how much your body fat % is and your BF mass?

My reason for asking is:

on 2/10 my weight: 81.6kg - height 158cm - BMI 32.7 - BF% - 36.7 and BF mass - 29.9kg

on 9/10 all the same .......................................... except my BF%- 37.5 and BF Mass - 30.6kg

on 4/11 my weight was 81.5kg - height 158cm - BMI 33.1- BF%-39.6 and BF Mass - 32.2kg

I put in I am a standard female.

My problem is I eat 1580 calories per day as per F2F radio and other calculators, I work out 5 days a week

cardio and weights and resistance training, how the heck is my BF% going up but Im not gaining or losing any weight??

Should I change the calculator to athletic.

My scales at home vary between 79.5kg ( 175 lbs) and 81.5kg (179 lbs) for the last god knows how long??

I don't trust the body fat reading. Mine says I'm 33% fat but I've been told by someone no way is that right. More like 30%. Are you clothes getting loser?

I don't trust the one at my gym (especially since I recently found out it claims you're 3kg lighter than you actually are) or at home. I make a weekly trip to a local Pharmacy/Beauty/Wellness store chain (do they have 'Boots' in the US?), the chain has some very VERY precise ones attached to the Pharmacy counter since they now work in conjunction with the National Healthcare Service on weight loss programs for those just needing to lose some weight, or needing to lose weight to be allowed certain surgical options.

The BF reading off those scales are notoriously inaccurate and frequently count water as fat. Take any BF reading with a pinch of salt.
