Hello I was wondering If I can drink the same protien shake as men? My goal is to lose 25 pounds and tone up a lot! I want to burn fat and gain muscle! I'm doing 30% cardio and 70% weight training! Am I on the right road here? What shake is best for me?

yes women can drink protine shakes like men do.
you cant not burn fat and gain muscle at the same time im afraid. its one or the other.
to gain muscle, the muscles need feeding, eating in a surplus of carloies or at least at maintenance for a newbee.
to burn fat you need to eat in a calorie deflect .
choose which way suits you and stick with it for a good 6 months. see how u are then and decide then it u then need to cut or bulk.
even if on a cut or a bulk you still need to have a good lifting routine, id suggest a fully body routine x 3 a week.
ive just bought some MRM chocolate whey and am getting on fine with it. its takes some getting used to having protine shakes but the results are worth it!

Protein shakes are simply a food source to help you meet your protein goal, which If course is important if you are trying to preserve or build muscle. There is no difference in men or women using them. Some products are marketed at women but this is pretty much just a way to charge more money.
With 25lbs to lose focus on eating at a calorie deficit, aiming for 0.5 to 1lb loss per week. Strength train to preserve the muscle you already have. You may make some small muscle gains if you are new to lifting but this will be minimal.
Aim to get around 1g protein per lb of lean body mass per day. Use shakes to reach this if you like but if you are able to get it from other lean protein sources then do it that way. It's really just personal preference. Plus gram for gram, a basic whey protein is the cheapest protein source.0 -
Great question and answers. Just started going to the gym and I was thinking the same thing.0
