Something that is long overdue

Hello Everyone o/ my name is Quinn!

I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I'm low in the diabetic range, but its enough that I know I need to sort myself out. A few years ago I was hit with a terrible depression and I'm not sure how much weight I put on but I went from a UK size 14 to a UK 20 in the space of a few short months. I have not been able to shift that weight since. In fairness, I haven't been purposely trying to lose that weight.

But now I need to change that. I have my health to think about more than anything here, and it would be nice to feel pretty in the clothes I wear again. To be in a healthy BMI I would need to lose 8st. But for now I'm just gonna look at losing a lb at a time and hope that I can lose 10lbs by Christmas. That's my goal right now. I'll be providing myself with stretch goals to help keep me motivated.
