Time to get healthy

Right guys the time has arrived and time to buckle down and get my obesity in check. Ive decided mfp is the way forward for me.

All planned food for today has been entered into my planner.

    I am 53 and am right there with you. You will love MFP if you really use it. I started over a year ago and hit my goal weight by weighing everyday, logging food and exercise and reading these posts every morning to stay motivated. I did this for over a year and stopped. Guess what - on came 10 extra lbs. I started to eat more, drink wine and not weigh. I am back on track and slowly the weight is coming off. (10 lbs on me is 10% of my body weight and all my new clothes were tight or did not fit!!). I know the daily weighing is controversial but it keeps me from stuffing things into my mouth. I have to accept a 1-3 lbs next day weight gain every now and then but I watch the trend over time. I wish I would have kept doing this and now I am back in the reduce mode.

    We can do this!!!
