I'm going off the pill after having dental surgery and being on antibiotics for weeks, I decided I am done with BC. I'm fine with other methods. Will this effect my weight lose positively/negatively? Opinions welcome.

I don't know about anyone else but I had no issues when I went off as far as my weight loss went. I have a feeling it may be different depending on the person though. Your hormones will go out of whack temporarily but just keep focusing on your fitness and nutrition and you should be fine/you'll get back on track fairly quickly!0

It would be reasonable to guess that going off the pill will effect you opposite of how going on did. If you gained a few pounds, you might drop a few. I never had any noticeable weight gain from hormonal BC and didn't notice any differences going off.0
