Digital scales

So.... I love my digital scale at home and it REALLY keeps me on track!!!
I currently have the one from Pampered Chef - I asked for it for Christmas last year and LOVE it!!! The drawbacks that I have found are...
1) the measurement unit change button is on the bottom, so I am constantly flipping it over!!! For example, this morning I wanted to weigh 100 grams of cucumber and then 3 oz of carrots and then 28 grams of hummus...flip flop.... flip flop... I know that I could have done the gram measurements together and then the ounces but I preplanned my day so I was just going down the list and packing my lunch!!!!
2) The cost!!! So I wanted to get another one for work so that on days when I run down to the cafeteria I could have a little better idea of what I actually got BUT they are $40...
NOW, the real question... has anyone tried/used/is using the biggest loser scale, like this one...
http://www.walmart.com/ip/The-Biggest-Loser-Digital-Food-Scale-6.6-lb.-Capacity/11090896
thoughts, comments, recommendations???
And, has anyone used any forms of the "pocket scales"??? I was thinking about weighing nuts, dressings, cheese... on the go...
Any insight/recommendations/opinions... constructive opinions... would be appreciated!!!!
Thanks

I have a Starfrit digital scale I got at Walmart for $10 that works just fine.0

I bought one that has the button on the bottom, but if you press the power button before it finishes loading to 0 it will switch from Grams to oz & lbs. I bought it for $12 at costco, it was originally $20 so very low cost. I've had it for half a year and haven't needed to change the batteries yet. I forget what brand it is but it's just a small silver scale with a power button and the tare button on the top.
ETA: The pocket scales are ok if you're going to keep them somewhere safe. I threw mine in my purse and threw it off in the first day of having it. It no longer works properly. They aren't really worth it. I just weigh what I want to eat for snacks at home and put them in little containers.0 -
The one I use is the Eat Smart Precision Pro. It has a capacity of 11 lbs and the buttons are on the front, below the display. It has an On/Off/Tare button and a button to change the units. I ordered it off Amazon for around $20. It's small enough to fit in my purse and very lightweight.0
